Mirror Image

Description: This image, facing to the left as the viewer looks at it is actually the opposite direction that the artist originally painted it. The original work seen above in the list of portraits, was a self-portrait in which the artist superimposed his face into the last self- portrait of Rembrandt. As such it did not reflect his true appearance, until the photo image of the original painting was horizontally reversed.
