Description: Popular bistro of Monte Martre painters who exchanged paintings for meals and drinks circa 1890. The painting in the window featured a rabbit leaping from a cook pot holding a bottle of wine. The bistro was often frequented by Picasso and Braque, who invented cubism, which Picasso always contested was his invention.
