The artist exhibited this and 34 other paintings at Mills Hospital in Burlingame, CA. This painting was susequently stolen from the exhibition.

The artist was retired and enjoying a seven month vacation with his wife, Nancy when this painting was done. They visited Ireland, Nice, Bormes les Mimosas, Paris and other points unknown.
